Additionally, the two countries have fostered cooperation between their local governments. Dien Bien province of Vietnam and Batna province of Algeria have signed a Twinning and Cooperation Agreement, facilitating the exchange of experiences and encouraging the implementation of various projects. In the near future, as co-chair of the Vietnam-Algeria CPPCC, the Ministry of Construction will review and promote the cooperation agreements signed by both sides in each specific field, thereby enhancing the collaborative relationship between the two countries.
The Minister also expressed his hope that Ambassador Sofiane Chaib and the Algerian side will work together to advance the signed agreements and support Vietnamese enterprises in their production and business activities in Algeria.
In response, Ambassador Sofiane Chaib expressed gratitude for the reception by Minister Nguyen Thanh Nghi and the Ministry of Construction, affirming that Algeria and Vietnam share a long-standing and robust cooperative relationship, with the Algerian people always standing in solidarity with the Vietnamese people.
Recently, during the 12th Session of the CPPCC, the two countries jointly established a comprehensive cooperation roadmap across all sectors, focusing on four key areas: expert groups in various fields, cooperation programs, agreements to be signed, and exchanges of delegations between both sides.
Ambassador Sofiane Chaib highlighted that Algeria has been actively investing and expressed hope for increased investment activities between Algeria and Vietnam. He emphasized the importance of creating conducive conditions and supporting businesses from both sides to thrive. The Algerian side will also work towards facilitating the signing of agreements between provinces and districts of the two countries.
Agreeing with Ambassador Chaib, Minister Nguyen Thanh Nghi affirmed that Vietnam will prioritize advancing the four cooperation issues outlined in the 12th Session of the CPPCC. The Ministry of Construction will undertake a review, compile statistics, and assess the ongoing initiatives while identifying any challenges to develop timely solutions. Additionally, the Ministry will coordinate with relevant agencies to address difficulties, enhance cooperation, and strengthen bilateral relations.
